Trialy — Privacy Policy
Last updated: 5 October 2026
Trialy is a subscription tracker: it keeps the subscriptions and free trials you add, with their prices and dates, and reminds you before charges and before trials end. This policy explains what happens to your information when you use it.
The short version: your subscriptions, prices, dates and notes stay on your phone. Trialy has no accounts, no ads, no analytics and no server, and it never asks for a bank login.
What stays on your phone
Trialy stores these only on your device:
- the subscriptions, free trials and one-time purchases you add: the service, price, billing cycle, dates, category and any notes
- the payments, price changes and cancellations you record
- your reminder times and settings
- whether you've bought Trialy Pro
We never receive this information and have no way to see it. There is no account, no cloud sync, and no analytics, advertising or crash-reporting service. Trialy works with no internet connection.
Deleting it: delete a subscription from its page in the app. Uninstalling Trialy deletes everything it stored on the phone; backups you saved to another folder stay there until you delete them.
Features that use your phone
Each of these is optional and works on the phone itself:
- Notifications: reminders before a charge or the last day of a free trial are scheduled on your phone.
- Calendar (off unless you turn it on): Trialy adds an all-day event for each charge and each last day to cancel to the calendar you pick, and keeps those events up to date. It only changes the events it created.
- Add from a screenshot: Trialy reads the one picture you pick to find subscriptions in it. The picture is not kept and not sent anywhere. On iPhone the text is read by Apple's on-device text recognition. On Android it is read by Google's ML Kit text recognition, which also runs on the phone; Google's library sends Google basic diagnostics about how it is working (device model and system version, the app's version, a per-installation identifier that doesn't identify you, performance and error codes), never the picture or its text. See ML Kit: data disclosure.
- App lock (Trialy Pro): uses your phone's Face ID, Touch ID or fingerprint. Trialy only learns whether it succeeded.
- Home-screen widgets: show your next charges, read from Trialy's own storage on the phone.
- Backups and exports: automatic backups go to a folder you choose, or to Trialy's own folder, which your phone's own backup (iCloud or Android backup) may include. A backup or a CSV file leaves the app only when you share or save it.
- Links: "How to cancel" and similar links open the service's own website in your browser; that website's privacy policy applies there.
Purchases
Trialy Pro is a one-time purchase handled entirely by the Apple App Store or Google Play. We receive confirmation that you bought Pro, never your payment details. Apple's and Google's own privacy policies cover the purchase.
Children
Trialy is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted at this address with a new "Last updated" date.
